Location

Lostwithiel is an ancient stannary town dating back to the 12th century, but remains as one of the most vibrant and lively communities in Cornwall.

Tucked away in the Fowey valley lies Lostwithiel, hidden by richly wooded hills. Lostwithiel is a vibrant community and a great location to explore Cornwall from. There are delightful walks in the surrounding countryside and the fascinating Restormel Castle lies just a mile to the North.

Within a short distance are the Eden Project, Lanhydrock House, Lerryn, Golant, Fowey, St Winnow, Lanlivery, Helman Tor Luxulyan nad the Treffry Viaduct.

Within Lostwithiel you have the Museum, Medieval Bridge, Duchy Palace and St Bartholomew's Church.

There are annual events such as Carnival Week, LostFest, Beer Festival, Sing Along the River, Dickensian Evening, Cornish Cider Festival, Christmas Pageant and New Years Eve Giants during the year.
